Mazda B2200 truck has poor acceleration and gas blows up through the carb.Idles fine and will drive as along as you are very gentle on acceleration. Timing, compression are OK. Can it be a carb problem? I do not want to mess with the carb unless there are no other optiond, suspects.
Year and miles??? When was the last time you replaced the air filter?Like it or not, you probably have to do a carburettor rebuild. They don’t last forever.
Determine the make and model of your carb and see if there is a manual on it. I don’t know if you can even obtain rebuild kits anymore. Another option may be to buy another carb from a junkyard, but whatever you get (if available at all!) may be in even worse condition than yours.
