Advice needed!!! I’m thinking about investing $$ into my current 1998 Maxima, which has 160K miles, rather than spend 25-30K on a new car. I am willing to spend up to 10K if that would give me another 150K miles on the vehicle. The car runs fine now, but I don’t know where the BIO (built in obsolescence) is with this make/model. In other words what should I expect to start failing now or as the mileage gets into the 200Ks? It needs a paint job and the shocks, breaks, etc. probably need replacing, etc. No rust to worry about, and it doesn’t burn oil. I have no idea what condition the transmission is in though. Thanks in advance.
