Magic eraser info that might help others

Yup!
A few years ago, I drove through some freshly-spilled paint, and when thinking of how to clean it off the lower areas of my Outback’s body, the first thing that came to mind was the “MAGIC” eraser. Luckily, I read the package’s warnings before buying it, and as soon as I saw that it is NOT recommended for the body of a vehicle, it went right back on the store’s shelf.

I understand what you are trying to say. But the hardness of the vinyl surface I tested was the same for 1000 grit and the eraser. Both were wet with water, and I used about as much force as I could by hand because I was trying to remove a discolored surface layer.

So I’m pretty sure that with the same force applied, the eraser can abrade more than 1000 grit sandpaper.
