Madagascar tire change

newspaper article (12/19/2010?) question about changing a tire in Madagascar with the passengers in the car and the engine running!

The responses assumed the reason for leaving the passengers in the car and the car running was passenger safety and comfort.

What if the reason includes difficulty restarting the car once it is turned off?
With the high humidity the battery and starting system electronics might be cranky.
And even if it is a manual transmission with the option of a push start the conditions for a push start (easy, downhill push location) are the opposite of a good tire change location (level).

And it appears someone missed an easy punny - Mad at the Gas Car …
