These are friends, family, and people I know, not work acquaintances, strangers, etc.

I don’t adjust anything unless the radio volume is inhibiting conversation, or an A/C duct is blowing ice cold air in my face.

Man, the attitude in CT Community…. Clean-up in aisle 37, paging clean-up aisle 37!

Well, a load is a load: Whether the radio or aircon is in a ‘81 Buick or a 2026 Buick, it certainly can’t hurt to turn all that off.

As described in the link above, no load exists during the startup.

Sighhhh….

The increased prevalence of “break” appearing for “brake” is unfortunate*.

Disclaimer: The above observation is general in nature, and not targeted toward any single poster or other individual.

When most of us on here grew up, know when to use “breaks” or “brakes” came naturally, or, was learned at a relatively early age.

Well, newer cars have DIC screens that tell you things. If car battery is low seems car will tell you that. I eventually realized my older car will crank till motor starts even if you release key. Which you may only experience if your car is having starting issues
