I just put two new calipers on my 93 Buick Century. One of them is slightly loose (it “wiggles”). The other is snug. I thought the parts store gave me the wrong pins and metal casings so I bought new ones; however, I had the same problem. Why is my caliper loose?
Does your caliper mounting involve any rubber bushings? Sometimes there is a hardware kit that contains these parts…Remember, they are “floating calipers”. They must be free to move around a little…Perhaps the tight one is the problem, not the loose one.
