I’m thinking about getting a lockng gas cap for my van, which has a 33-gallon tank. Someone said that there is no need for one since modern filler necks won’t allow syphoning. Is that true?
Depends on the year of the vehicle. Newer vehicles have an anti-overfill valve so gas can’t be syphoned.
