The horn on my Lincoln ls is not working. I have checked horn switch
need more info about the Lincoln . jump the horn does it make noise car also has a relay if horn makes noise then make sure its got voltage when you hit the horn switch . if no voltage maybe the relay is bad
Car horns are simple metal diaphragms with coils operating them. They’re usually located right in front of the metal frame tha holds the radiator, right in all the road salt and debri. They’re generally grounded just by virtue of being bolted to the metal radiatro muont, and often the ground corrodes.
It’s super easy to check for voltage at the wire and if it’s there a whole new generic horn can be purchased for under $20 at any parts store.
