I backed into something with my leased Honda and scraped up the back. Honda has a limited excessive wear and use waiver that when boosted by loyalty benefits waives up to $1,000 in damage when the lease is up. They told me on the phone I should qualify for this, but I am concerned with the wording of the contract. Does excessive wear and use include auto-accidents, particularly when they were your fault?
I don’t have a copy of your contract, so I don’t know, probably not.
You have insurance , have the damage repaired and hope that at turn in time the repair does not cost you any more.
