My 2003 Subaru Outback had a coolent leak. The dealer said it was from leaky head gaskets. They will fix it for 1500.00. After questioning them further they said the could try Stop Leak (for 10.00) After 5 days now I have no noticeable leaks. Is this really a bandaid or should I have it fixed?
It’s a bandaid. And you should have it fixed.
Keep checking your coolant and your leaking spots. It is common for Subaru’s to encounter this.
