I have a 2016 Kia with a 2 liter turbo. Great car. But the “adaptive” transmission that supposedly “learns” my style of driving down shifts very hard when I’m slowing down to around 35mph. I went to the dealer and they reset it. About 6 months later it is downshifting again when the car slows down to about 35. I went back in and their answer was to brake harder. I don’t like that answer. Do you have a better one? What can be done to fix this rather annoying problem in otherwise a great car.
