A couple of weeks ago I started having problems getting the key into the ignition of my 1999 Saturn station wagon. Sometimes it goes in just fine, but other times you have to jiggle the key. If I am going shopping I have taken the spare key and started leaving one key in the ignition so I don’t get stuck.
Has anyone else had a problem like this? Do I have to take this back to the dealer (which is about 100 miles away) or can a good repair shop fix whatever is going wrong.

A little graphite lock lubricant may make a difference. This not only made a huge difference on a car I used to have, but also freed up one of the locks on my house.
