Just be glad that you're not an Infiniti dealer

Mazda manufactured rotary powered vehicles for 43 years. RX-8 production ended in 2012, one of my coworkers drove one.

In 2018 an auto parts delivery subcontractor was driving a rotary engine pickup.

When car magazines publish their tests of Mazda vehicles, they frequently comment on their nice interiors, with comments such as ā€œhigh-quality materialsā€. Whether that is enough to convince buyers that Mazdas are in the same class as Acura/Lexus/Infiniti vehicles is questionable, but Mazda interiors definitely seem more upscale than those of Toyota and Honda.

Car buyers are probably more concerned about reliability, mechanical, than interior quality.

Here’s how people decide in buying a car. I don’t agree with the list complete.

How Americans shop for cars: What drives decisions across age groups

At $12,000, Is This 1987 Acura Coupe An Absolute Legend?

In cars or tractors?

25 years ago we were driving cars that got 30+ mpg. Now my daily driver gets 22mpg. What happened?

I really loved the first LH platform cars. We had a 94 Intrepid for a while and later I drove a 96 LHS. Great cars to drive. But since then, meh.

Only the boring ones with no flair for life! :grinning: :grinning: A car has to look and feel good to the driver as well as do its mechanical duty.

Mazda has brought their rotary engine back, in the MX-30 Hybrid. Rather than driving the wheels, the rotary engine is called a ā€œrange extenderā€, which will replenish the traction battery.

Ya’ll have it backwards, no N. American or Pacific Rim manufacturer has a car that can compete with the Miata for the fun/price ratio. There are cars that are close but have too many seats, therefore out of the running. GM was forced to get rid of their competition to the Miata.

Ohhh heck yeah, I still say my 95 Intrepid 3.5l was the best overall vehicle I ever drove, that is why I bought one… Still miss that car, it was totaled… Sadly I saw what happened to them with age… lol

My friend bought a LHS (think 2nd gen) and fault with repairs after repairs after repairs, I think he had the dash out so many times replacing this and that, that he could do it in his sleep… Also had tons of engine issues, rebuilt, replaced with used, replaced with reman, just couldn’t keep the car on the road, it did have over 200K on it, so there is that… lol

Nissan frontier based Mitsubishi pickup for the us market is on the way.
