Does anyone have any idea why my 2004 Jetta 1.8T Stalls out while Driving?

It usually happens while on the Freeway, 60-70 Mph, I Coast to the Shoulder then it starts back up again…

Any check engine light? Check codes. Wild guesses: fuel filter. Ignition coils. VW had a problem with ignition coils for a while, don’t know if yours was one of the problem batch.

Can you tell if the problem seems to be lack of fuel or lack of proper spark (ignition)?

Now that I think about it, this just happened to a friend’s VW. It turned out to be a crankshaft (or camshaft) position sensor.
