Jeep tires/wheels

I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler X with 215/75R15 tires. How big can I go with wheels/tires without a body lift?

You can easily go to 30 x 9.5, as this was a standard size for TJs. Some people have gone with 32 x 10.5 with the standard wheels. You might get some rubbing on extremely tight turns, however. This can be eliminated by putting a few washers under your bump stops. If you are doing any serious offroading, I wouldn’t go bigger than the 30’s without a lift. By the way, I would recommend a suspension lift over a body lift. Go to wranglerforum.com and search on tire sizes for a complete discussion of your options.
