I’m moving to Massachusetts from Idaho and I need to know the laws on vechicals. I own a '89 Jeep Cherokee. I need to know if I need to pass emissions, if my "2 inch lift is ok and if wooden bumpers are legal and how far my tires can stick out from the body. Does any one know where I would look for this information.

Massachusetts is very strict on rust, etc, for inspection, and I can’t say I’ve ever seen a wooden bumper out here in the Bay State (er…Commonwealth). Don’t know for sure but I’d guess that’s not going to fly.
