Is it worth the extra money to choose dealer vs. jiffy lube?

my honda crv just hit 110k miles and needs a tuneup. honda dealer wants 465 for new plugs and valve clearance; jiffy lube charges 150. is it worth the extra 285 to have dealer do the work?

Yes do not trust liffy lube for anything . Also you don’t need the dealer for that a good indepent shop will be cheaper than the dealer.

I wouldn’t let Jiffy Lube wash my windows let alone change my oil. A 100k service is totally out of the question.

Find an independent shop. Try mechanic files at the top of the page, yelp, in addition, google mechanics near me. I would stay away from Jiffylube and most chain shops such as Pepboys.
