I have a 09 Forester, my wife a 04 Forester (our fifth and sixth Subarus since 77) my older son has a 08 Forester, my younger a 08 Tribeca. Do we like Subarus, yes! If a person rejects you for your car, even if it is a Yugo, find another person. Remember your Forester is related to and shares much technology with Subaru WRX (hot car) and STI (one of the hottest on the road), so you need not have a complex about the brand. And, just wait until your friend’s other friend can’t make a date because the Shelby Cobra can’t handle the 12 inches of snow that just fell.
