This has happened twice now. 2001 Silverado, 5.3 engine, 183,000 miles. Drive truck but it is not completely warmed up yet (short trip - but this may or may not mean anything), park it. Go inside store for a few minutes, come out, and car won’t maintain the idle and stalls. If I give it gas and raise the rpm, it will not stall. Go to next store and park. Come out a few minutes later and everything is normal - no stalling. Has happened twice a couple days apart.
Another GM truck owner tells me this is a sign that the fuel pump is starting to go. The original fuel pump is in the truck. So what do you think?
