We own a 2009 Toyota Camry and periodically on the passenger side floor board appears to be chunks of pink insulation/pet hair. Unable to tie it to any particular actvitity (ie use of heating/cooling)or where is comes from.
It sounds like the Pink Panther has been joy riding in your car at night. Keep it locked!
