My ignition key cannot be pulled out when the car is shut down most of the time. Occasionally if you move the key to the left to the off position and jiggle quickley it releases and comes out, but the next time you use it gets stuck again. Is a new igniton lock the answer?
Yes, and do it BEFORE it becomes hopelessly jammed. Any locksmith who does automotive work can change the lock at reasonable cost AT THIS POINT…
Sounds to me like the lock cylinder is worn and needs to be replaced.
Have you tried lubricating the cylinder with powdered graphite?
No doubt, pocket lint has claimed yet another victim!
Sorry, couldn’t resist. 100% agree w/Caddyman’s advice…
