Reminds me of the early days of the internet. Folks in chat rooms playing to the conspiracy theorists would sometimes play a practical joke, saying “to prevent the gov’t from spying on your computer usage on the internet, press this key sequence” … If you did that it would either lock up the computer, close the browser, or restart the computer.
