Need help identifying this hose (outlined in red). 1996 Dodge Intrepid Base 3.3L.

That’s the Positive Crankcase Ventilation inlet hose.

I agree. That’s the only thing it could be.

The PCV hose seems to be this hose instead, based on searches on parts sites:

Would there be two different PCV hoses?

Yes.

Air has to be drawn into the engine/crankcase so the crankcase gasses can be drawn into the engine and burned.

Every single site I look on only seems to sell a single PCV hose for this car – the one closer to the back of the car (the second picture). Could the first hose possibly be called something else?
