2005 Jeep - About once a week, several times that day, a loud click/tap noise starts under the dash (between steering and center). It stops as fast as it starts. One time (one time only) the radio volume went out simultaneously. It is loud, not a rattle, and lasts about 30 seconds. It NEVER happens with the mechanic…and it may go 7-8 days without a click. The main reason I want it diagnosed and fixed is I want to sell the Jeep, but I can’t in good conscience let it go until the mystery is solved (and fixed).
