Need possible remedies for 3 things:
1.Car is misfiring( Auto Zone diagnostic machine) 194,000 miles V-6. don’t think it is burnt valves. Drove car 500 miles immediately after buying. No smoke,no oil consumption.
2.Horn doesn’t blow.
3. Radio plays sometimes , low volume.
Did the diagnosis indicate which cylinder was misfiring? If you know which cylinder inspect the plug and wire, compression, and injector. And be absolutely sure that the timing belt is fresh. Hyundai engines are notorious valve benders. Re radio and horn, check fuses and grounds.
What did your mechanic say about this car when you brought it in for a pre-purchase inspection?
(You did have it inspected by your mechanic prior to buying it, didn’t you?)
