How to disconnect the lever?

Hi, Guys:

This is 1997 Nissan Altima. Between Throttle body and accelerator cable, there has a lever with two white ball-shaped staff at both ends. Does any one konw how to disconnect this lever? Just pull out the bar of the ball?

yes it should just snap off and back on.
