Hello, I have a 2013 Ford Taurus V6 and I have a oxygen sensor issue, it’s the bank 1 and sensor 2 area. I just wanted to know if bank 1 is left or right and if sensor 2 is upstream or downstream.
Thank you

Bank one is on the side of #1 cylinder.
Sensor 2 is downstream.
Ok, so on my cars cylinder 1 would be on the front right under passenger seat
Cylinder 1 is passenger side towards firewall.
Thank you for all your help. I greatly appreciate it.
If you look at a “V” engine (v6, v8, etc), there will always be one cylinder that is slightly forward of the other, toward the front of the engine. The amount it will be forward will be the width of a connecting rod. On the order of an inch.
Cylinder number one is the forward most cylinder in that bank.
