How Did This Come To Be?

This is what it looks like from the dash

:joy: I get it now. My bad. Mixing up temp and air.

Thanks teacher !

For those that don’t know:

Temperature:

Degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Pressure(of air or other gas, in a tire or otherwise):

PSI: Most common in North America

kPa: Kilopascals, in Europe, elsewhere.

Tires are not set to “37 degrees”. The correct terminology would be 37 PSI.

Are you serious right now, Chris ? It’s an obvious typo. I wanted to type TPMs.

Things can be a bit challenging on the iPhone. But anyways, thanks for offering to help just in case.

Funny, I knew what you meant without question… Hell I go back and prof read everything I type out before posting, sometimes I am like WTF was I trying to say, I add and or forget words…

And yes he is way to serious, and some people just have to try to talk down or degrade others so they can sleep better at night or something… lol

If no air is added or lost, tire pressure increases as temp goes up

The only tire gauges I have kept are the round brass Meisner Accugauge they sent me for free because they could not send me the parts to re-seal the one bought 60 years ago and the digital Accugauge I bought 15 years ago All 3 of those gauges read identically the 60 year old one would no longer hold pressure once I removed it from tje tire

No dispute. Ask me how I know … lol … A few years ago I had to use my smart phone to surf the web, and I recall one time it took me 2 hours just to figure out how to type the underscore “_” key on the cell phone. And I don’t think I could do it again.

I don’t remember who I was trying to deal with but got the press 1 for this etc. got to the end and couldn’t put the correct character in. I finally gave up. Finally used a land line.
