I’ver tried releasing the underdash latch (which isn’t making a noise when released)and pushing the safety latch with a screwdriver. To no avail…does anyone know how to get the hood open when the latch stops working?
Have somebody work the hood release while you push down on the hood a few times. This pops the hood loose on my 93 Caprice and 2000 Blazer.

This type of question gets asked a lot. Search this forum and see what you find. Then go find another car like yours and look over how it is made. That should give you some ideas. Otherwise, a body repair shop is probably your best resource.
