I have a 2007 Honda Fit sport. Occasionally and now more often, my power steering light is on. Seems to occur more on damp or cool days. Of course I do what the manual states and restart the car, sometimes several times. Anyone have any thoughts? I asked at the dealership and they had no concrete answers.
Take it back to dealer if under warranty again.
You have electric steering which can emmit a warning. The mainstream in majority of cars is pump driven never has any indicator of failure except noise and feel.
Too late for warranty. Have taken out the fuse, looked it over, etc. The electric power steering emits no warnings, the light is only on and needs to be reset by restarting in the mornings or after sitting. no real pattern.
