what motors will fit the 88 crx?
Probably the only direct fit would be the 1.5 or 1.6 CRX engine and if it was outfitted the same as the original in regards to Federal or CA emissions.
A quick look shows different halfshaft and fuel injector part numbers even between those 2 engines so it’s anybody’s guess.
Anything else is possible but that’s going to depend on your mechanical aptitude and bank account; preferably a fat bank account because when it comes to adapting there is no end to the what-ifs.
It’s not worth the effort unless you find an EXACT replacement. And even then it’s dicey…
