I know Honda recommends it only when the valves get noisy. On the I-4 it’s easy to tell a noisey engine from one that runs like a sewing machine. I’d maybe have it done on the other hand if the valve cover gasket is leaking because once that is popped off you can access the valves. 2 birds with one stone.
That valve lash recommendation made by Honda about noisy valves is also made by a number of other car manufacturers.
That recommendation is also utterly ridiculous, asinine, and boneheaded stupid no matter who makes it.
Tight valves aren’t noisey . . .
