In cold weather, until the car warms up, the brakes don’t work. It is more that the braking system doesn’t work. If I press on the peddle hard, the car will slow. So, I let the car warm up until the brakes “work” normally. Any idea why this happens?
You need your braking system checked ASAP. The likely case low fluid or a leaky booster or something wrong with the Hybrid braking system itself(hybrids use braking to charge your battery pack).
thank you - the fluid is good, haven’t noticed anything leaking - so it looks like something more internal.
