Help!

So, my truck (94 Dodge 1500) got stuck in a snow drift yesterday. It was buried. Snow up in everything. While trying to get it unstuck, the wheels stopped spinning and there was a burning smell. Then it stalled out. It is a manual and now it will turn over, but not start. The clutch is harder to push in, but it does move in and out of gear easily. What do you thing could be wrong with it and could it be the transmission?

(1) your clutch is toast. Totally.
(2) you have moisture that’s gotten to your ignition system. I’ll bet you had snow blowing all over the engine compartment while you were trying to get it free of the drift.
