Help with weird sound on my car

Hey guys so i’ve got a Mitsubishi RVR 2022 with 3100 miles. Happens when I shift it to drive, it’s a CVT. when it happened the first time it did it for 30 second straight, now it only happens occasionally. Never heard it when driving nor at a red light. Is the transmission defective ? what the heck is going on ?

It’s under warranty. Use it.

Why are you not using your warranty ? If you have a mechanic do anything then you could void the warranty for that problem.

So I called this morning and apparently there is a recall on a batch of RVR including mine for a CVT issue on the programmation or something, would be heck of a coincidence if it’s not that
