I live in the woods and it’s very quiet at night…
Recently, I hear strange sound at my drive way. It’s like a vibration or gas sound happened roughly every 2 minutes.
Later I found out the sound is from my car, a Honda Accord EX 2000.
The sound is from the real axel area between two rear wheels when car is parked.
I checked the several garages and no one can tell me what cause it.
The sound is only at night…
anyone can help me here!!!
Try removing the fuel cap and putting it back on loose. It may let the spooks out.
If that does it, you may need a new cap or work on your vapor recovery system. You are not in the habit of topping off your tank when you get gas are you? The spooks (and your car) don’t like that.
