HELP! Motor Oil in Trans Fluid

OK I chose Too Slick for my screen name because I just poured at least 1/2 cup of 10W-40 into my transmission fluid. (Had both bottles out and… )

Can I drive 1 mile to my mechanic or do I need to have it towed? How bad is this?

Drive the mile to the shop and have the transmission fluid drained and refilled.

DON’T have the transmission flushed, just drained and refilled.

I see that transman says that it won’t hurt anything.

It wont hurt a thing, leave it alone and save yourself the expense of draining it again.
