I have not yet begun to dig into the dash, thought I’d start here.
The dash knob for cold/hot seems as though something like a cable or door inside is stuck. As you attempt to turn it cooler it clicks as if jumping gears. Although it snowed this afternoon and winds were 30mph I think we’ll be wanting it cooler soon.
Has anyone got the skinny to get inside this dash and heater doors with ease ? Or does this problem ring any bells and someone has the snap cure ?
I would make sure cables are retained at the lever mechanism correctly before I get into the dash, no model specific experience.
I have a lot of experience with cable actuated doors in the Geo line and the cables were always popping out of their retainers.
