1996 ford explorer limited…65K miles. Low beam headlight on left doesn’t work. High beam OK. Transfer bulb to right & low & high work. transfer bulb to left & only low beam doesn’t work???Bulb plug {left}in looks fine. HELP
Locate the headlight relay and from there to the bulb socket start checking for voltage with a meter or even a simple “ice pick” circuit tester…
Check for voltage from the dimmer switch at the left low beam fuse & that the fuse isnt blown.
Next stop in the circuit is the LOM/lamps out warning module. A common problem on some Fords is a bad solder joint in the LOM.
Reflow the solder & problem solved.
Next in line is the wiring to the bulb.
