We have a 2002 Subaru Outback and have a strange problem with our passenger headlight. When the high bulb is in the socket, our daytime running light/low beam doesn’t work. When I removed the high bulb from the socket, the low beam started operating correctly. The driver side headlight is working as normal, so I don’t think it’s a fuse issue. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Clean all the contacts and be especially vigilant with the ground wires.
