Hard to turn to the left

I just got back from driving a short distance and as I was pulling into my parking space, I found it very hard to crank the wheel all the way to the left. It felt like I was driving a car without power steering. Any idea what might be causing this? Turning it to the right did not have the same feel at all.

Thanks

Sounds like power steering is failing. Check the power steering fluid level first.

…or, it could be a worn-out/binding steering rack.

Compact and mid-size GM products have a history of steering rack problems in the '80s & '90s models. What model year is this Olds Intrigue?
