Grades for car beacon

That’s true in almost all situations…except my daily commute. Here, they have razor sharp granite curbs that terminate right before the intersection. The streets are based on hundreds of years old horse trails and wicked narrow. Often, you need to snuggle right up to the center line in order to make the right turn with the minimal curb run-over. And there’s so much traffic, that the opposing lane is almost always occupied so you can’t swing wide on the street you’re entering either. Then there’s the inevitable lost truck that has ignored numerous signs for the preferred truck route and gets stuck trying to make the turns. The cars all jam up tight and no one can back up. Those are the fun days…
