I want to echo the $5 per gallon gas price reply and some say higher prices than that. We are good to go with a gas car rated 37 mpg highway and a VW diesel good for 50 mpg. If it is not bought for work, you will see a large pickup parked much of the time unless you want to dedicate your life to buying gas for it. One day, people will discover lightweight trailers for hauling household items.
