Glazed pads, rotors

The pads and rotors are somewhat glazed, but the car brakes fine–sometimes a slight pulsing, but nothing very dramatic. Should they be cleaned up before driving much more: Can this become a safety issue?

If the car brakes fine, how do you know the pads are glazed?

Because they’ve been looked at.

By whom? The mechanic who wants you to give him money for new brake pads? Why were they looked at?

If the brakes work fine and are not worn thin, don’t worry about them.
