I put my car in for a service a while back and when I collected it, they told my my gear box was on it’s way out, but I had no signs of it being on it’s way out and I’m not sure whether there would be any signs anyhow! Five days later the gearbox packed up just before dartford tunnel,the worse place to break down! I find this to be very suspicious and coincidental that it happened five days later! Could they have sabotaged it in any way!
Did you ask why they thought the gearbox was “on its way out?”
There must have been some symptoms.

We don’t get many sabotages, other than maybe the quick oil change chains.
