I am interested in purchasing an Infiniti but am wondering what grade of gas to use. Can you use 86 or 87 or does it take premium gas
The 2010 Infinity i30 has premium fuel listed in it’s spec sheet. The owners manual will tell you if premium is required or recommended.
As to see the owner’s manual. It will tell you.
If it says “premium required” then you must use premium or risk damage. If it says premium recommended, it means you may reduce mileage and or power if you don’t use premium. So either way the smart way is to use what is recommended or required.
Note: using premium in a car that does not need it and does not recommend it will not help your car, but it will cost more and in some few cases cause damage.
