2009 FX35 Infiniti…great car but has developed a very noisy front end…sounds like a wheel bearing but 3 Repair shops say they think it is in the drive train, but none are willing to figure it out.
It is all wheel drive so maybe too complex. Sounds like a washing machine in the spin cycle but our of balance…definitely a rotating noise that is out of alignment.
My transmission guy says not the transmission or transfer case…maybe the front differential, but it has to get worse before he can tell…
If trans guy put it on lift and let all motor spin all 4 wheels, or at least front wheels and says bearings are good I believe him. He did do that?
