Fuel Filler Door Repair

I’d be surprised if any glue worked, the stresses will be concentrated right at the break, and plastics are hard to glue. But I might try the JB weld plastic, just to see.

I’m with Texases on this one. I’d be amazed if anything held for very long.
However, IF you have the metal-shaping ability and the space around the door parts permit, epoxying a metal gusset plate to the back of the hinge might work. Even a modestly thick piece of aluminum strapping might work.

Just for fun I did a Google search and it seems fuel door replacements are easy to find.

@Barkydog - so glad you mentioned Shoegoo. I use it often because it holds things that need to be flexible. It sticks forever and holds foam and vinyl upholstery well.
