Frozen fuel line? 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara

I moved to a new house on a hill, former farm field, no trees, bushes or other houses to block wind. No garage. Battery & alternator are fine. 2nd time it has frozen when below zero w/wind chill. What do I do to prevent this? Bales of hay? Gas additive, etc?

2nd time it has frozen

Details: What exactly do you mean by frozen and what exactly is frozen?

Windchill is totally meaningless in this situation, except it will help tell you how cold it is going to feel while you are walking to or from the car.

The only thing that MIGHT be of help would be a gas additive and then only if that additive was intended for what is actuarially causing the problem and I doubt if it is the gas.

So let’s give us more information: a better description of what makes you think something is frozen and when was the last time you changed the spark plugs, plug wires, oil, fuel and air filters etc.
