Am considering the purchase of a Toyota Highlander, 2005-2007. Is the 2 wheel drive version, font or rear wheel drive? I never use 4 wheel drive on current suv, and want to save some $. Still want front wheel, though.
The 2WD version will certainly be rear-wheel. Only the tiniest SUVs (like the CR-V, say) would have front-wheel drive.
Are you sure about that? Since the Highlander is more or less an evolution of the Camry chassis, I would think that the 2wd version would be more likely to be FWD. Does anyone know for sure?
According to Consumer Reports, the Toyota Highlander is available as front wheel drive or all wheel drive.
